The lovely Joanna Lumley and her absolutely fabulous set of British bombs have blessed screens for decades, and her long and fruitful career shows no sign of letting up. After growing up in India, Joanna began making movie magic with an uncredited role in the little-seen Some Girls Do (1965), and she was definitely one of the girls who did! She quickly moved up the proverbial ladder with a bit part in the Bond flick On Her Majesty’s Secret Service (1969) as the tight bunned (on her head, of course) “English girl.” Less than a year later, Joanna was commanding starring roles, like when she took the lead part of Fanny Hill in the sex romp Games That Lovers Play (1970). Not surprisingly, the film was replete with nudity, including that of our heroine Joanna. Her familiar blonde locks were noticeably gone in lieu of her natural brunette coif, but it was hard to notice when her pert, young tits were dead center on the screen whenever she laid in bed. We’d love to play some games with her Fanny, or go for a climb on her Hills. Joanna starred in both Trail of the Pink Panther (1982) and Curse of the Pink Panther (1983), although it was only in “Curse” that we were, ironically, blessed with a look at Joanna’s mud covered mams. Joanna had us thinking even more dirty thoughts on the small screen. She kicked ass as the pretty Purdey, the martial arts expert on The New Avengers, had us hard as steel with her fire body as Sapphire (who unfortunately never gets sapphic) on Sapphire & Steel, and may be best known as the transgender, promiscuous booze hound Patsy Stone (who is said to have slept with every member of The Rolling Stones) on Absolutely Fabulous. Joanna has never stopped working, from appearances in Eurotrip (2004) and The Wolf of Wall Street (2013) to playing Katie’s mother on the UK version of Mistresses and acting as a presenter at the 71st British Academy Film Awards. We’re always happy to see her, because there are few that have been more comely than Joanna Lumley!
